Well last Saturday we decided to pick up the first locomotive. The bad thing is that there was 2" of rain that night at the place where we picked it up. So instead of backing up to get it we had to build 200+ft of track to the road. No ties just build it, IT WORKED!

The locomotive sat on the trailer until Thursday at our other shop. It was unloaded & away we go.
Engine stuck, transmission stuck, brakes locked up, starter stuck, missing engine parts.

Well we got the engine unstuck & worked for only 2 days on this little thing so far.

Tonight if everything goes well we are firing this puppy up. (Who would have guessed?)

Watch for the update.

hey, pete, since that plymouth fit so well on that trailer, do you think you can bring that gasoline locomotive out to us on that trailer also? that would be great if you can.

The low pro Plymouth weighs 10,000 or 12,000lbs it makes me too heavy for that trailer. It can go on a roll back truck or on our semi if we come out empty.

Well we only have to regrind the valve seats in the block, install new valves/ gaskets & reassemble it. We are moving the other one on Saturday & we also pressure washed the Whitcomb from the slate quarry (turned out sweet :!: ).
