Looking good. What did you use to clean/polish the aluminum?

Nice. I usually use mother's mag wheel polish for my final rub down on aluminum and brass.

Very nice! Doesn't it feel great to see the result of a project that you worked for a long time? To me, that feeling makes any frustration worth it.

I gotta polish mine up like that...I use blue magic but I am going to buy that WAB stuff to try it after seeing how good it came out.

I'd have to say the polishing looked pretty good. That lamp looked like it was brand new when I saw it in person. I'm not used to seeing such clean lamps before! My lamps are in good shape, but they have been 'worked in the mines' and have a bit of grime on them.
