It's bad to back pole like that, that's how trolley wires get torn down, poles get busted and people get crispy! Cool vid.

Actually I was re-watching this and there isn't a trolley pole. Actually there is a bow frame collector visible in the zoomshot. That would make it the same as a modern single arm pantograph. Our NZR Ef class were fitted with them and it was possible to observe the tracking throught the roof porthole. Never saw any difference in arm trail compared with arm leading.
