I don’t have too much in my truck (1979 Dodge). I have been avoiding driving it because it keeps stalling in city traffic. The only thing in the back is a pry-bar. Inside the cab are three try cocks, a safety valve, gloves, goggles, bungee cords, a punchodex, hard hat, rope, tarps, box of envelopes, and something from a compressed air system. Does anyone recognize it?

OK I am going to dig up some REAL GOOD PICS of our (1) Ford Super Duty since this is getting to get to be a bigger topic. I will try to find them tonight. As you guys know when we use our truck we USE our truck.

Next time I take ole' blue for a coal run I'll have to take a couple of pictures. She definitly holds her own, gets used harder than alot of them sissified car trucks. The most it's ever weighed was 11,950 lbs. (truck and trailer) Not overly impressive untill you consider it's only a half toner.

No wasn't directed at you, yellow has it's fair share of battle scars. It's directed towards the guys with dualie diesels that only tow a 12' aluminum boat once a year, or don't put much more than a bag of potting soil in the bed.

right now in my truck there is an 1800s blacksmith forge thats too heavy to unload by myself, some ratchet straps, a broken winch control, a dirt bike tire tube, some chains and some cans and coffee cups. my bed has never been empty since the day i bought the truck haha, miner greg took these picture of a 63 corvette in my bed when i bumped into him and Lina at a gas station down in carlisle PA

the biggest thing i ever hauled with that truck was a 1952 international dump truck not in the bed though! on my trailer!

Ohio boys....

like i said they never disappoint, and they even have a trailer, although it looks to be missing some crucial part that i just cant put my finger on.....

Mike A......

ah, thats hilarious! and i totally agree, we should start a new post...... whos truck bed is totally empty 364 days out of the year, and only have the thing cause of "cool factor"

ctmike......

there it is, i always get a kick out of that. that right there is pushing the over the gate allowance just a bit

all i can say is that buying or finding crazy stuff spur of the moment, sometimes calls for drastic measures and engineering marvels! i consider myself an artist and my canvas is the manner in which i haul crap in my truck. although i am sometimes hasseled by the cops and made to take sobriety tests, it is all worthwhile just to see the look on my neighbors faces when i pull into my driveway with my precious, rare or valuable crap.

 no doubt no doubt

I like how my other truck just shows up on here... 8)
I think about that too Mike A... the guys that buy a huge dually to pull a quad. .."stupid is as stupid does"

i love duallys and big trucks but I'd have a gooseneck trailer hooked up to that thing hauling whatever I could like a dually was intended to do.
