The party was great! Here's some cake shots. I still need to get the white cake carrier back. My parents won't let it get away.

I think everyone had a great time on Saturday, especially those who attended both the mine tour and the party at Banks' house. It was fun riding the locomotive into the tunnel but not as much fun stepping off the locomotive into 2 feet of mud! hehe. I guess the passenger cars don't stop as far and the doors to exit are away from the mud.

As always I can always count on you PA boys for hosting an excellent party. There was a warm fire, great conversations, miners pasties, and even live music and karaoke. Oh, and how could I forget about the cake, thanks Mike Piersa! Look forward to seeing all the pictures.

WOW  that was a blast! that party had everthing! great food, great music, fire, anthracite ale, exploding airbags, interesting and delicious cakes, and dont forget Heidi, was there anyone that cardboard german didnt flirt with? then when you guys broke out the oil wick lamps and the mayors very own pipes i knew the night was complete!

well nows a good time to invite all you guys on this forum to the CT halloween party- it takes place sat. oct 24, im less than 3 hours from Banks house, the party takes place in the barn but the property is set up like at Banks place, lots of room to run around, blow things up, fire cannons, rip around on dirtbikes etc. plenty of room for people to stay over and of course the mandatory next day mine trip :D

That was a butt kickin', hard coal, hard core bash. I think we need one of them every year. The food was great and the company was excellent. I couldn't think of a better way to spend a day, Happy birthday again Banks and remember what you said you are going to be 21 every year. Thanks to all for a great time.
