I was recently contacted by a person I helped ID a photo some months ago. It seems that he has a large portion of the Moffat and Blue coal photo's and needs help ID"ing them. So.... for helping him I get copies of all the photo's!!! I have a great shot circa. 1960's or early 1970's of the Olyphant breaker. Settle's once and for all it wasnt the Olyphant breaker that burned ,but the adjacent power house. My memory of wandering around the breaker in 74 or 75 was correct. Well back to work ID'ing more photo's

that would explain all the charred stuff we saw at the powerhouse concrete foundation years ago, remember that?

You got it. although I do have to say the breaker in the photo is smaller than ive seen it in other earlier photo's. breaker probably sustained some sort of damage? I guess.

for sale eh? we'll have to look into that. if you say its good, we can pool the money together and i think it would be a good investment for the northeast coal and iron co.

If these are rare photos, which is sounds like, it would probably be better to be owned by people who study the history. Otherwise it will end up on EBay for a collector to put it in his "collection", never to be seen again. So much good stuff I see go out to people in California, Texas, and who knows where else to someone's collection. Its actually ashame when you think about it.
