O.K. John & Chris

The stuff John posted as we dicussed were (3) Atlas Type J's.

The one B & M Tunnel locomotive is a battery Jeffrey but originally operated as a New York Iron mine locomotive.

Chris all your S.D. stuff are Porter Compressed Air Locomotives except the one battery locmotive is a Mancha 1.5 ton trammer.

The last picture is the ANTHRACITE WAY a motorman should be driving a Whitcomb Battery Locomotive. :D

Ray you fill in the details we missed.

John, As Pete mentioned, the battery loco's are all Atlas Type J's 1.5-Tons.

Chris, like Pete said, all the compressed air loco's were built by Porter. The GE loco you photographed is an 10-Ton trolley unit with air brakes, and was used on the covered surface haulage railway from the Yates or Ross shafts to the mill. The gauge for this railway was an odd 21 inch.. There was another trolley/catenary loco built by Warren, but I understand it was sold to a private party. The Plymouth you have a picture of was used as a backup when the DC trolley power was shut down.
