Two of the delivery drivers where I work are part of this RC plane group:

http://www.bluegrayrc.com/

I thought some of ya's may enjoy the pics and videos from that site.
I can't believe some of the lengths those guys go to with those planes, as well as what they spend on 'em.

helicopters eh? what kind ya got? i got a blade cp that i modified pretty good, dual tail rotor motors, cnc machined head, custom body and fins made in our fiberglass shop, carbon rotors, and some small stuff. taught myself to fly helo's back in 98 after flying airplanes for 7 years. had a shuttle z 30 size gas jobber. wrecked it good 4 times before figuring it out. airplane experience definatly helps. once you master hovering, flying is easy with airplane experience. hardest part is the transition from forward flight to hover.

That is bad ass flying your heli in the mine! That is too freakin cool! 8) The helicopter i have is the Honeybee Esky CP2 pretty much looks like yours as a mator of fact. And yeah i already screwed up the head when i crashed it in my garage. Right now i grounded myself and using a flight simulator until it gets warmer out (actually i need to order a new head and blades lol). Anyway its alot of fun scaring the dogs with it.

Hey Chris great video the dogs must love that lol. Is that a different body on your helo or is it a different helo than the CP? Looks to be a jet ranger body on there. After i learn not to crash all the time i am getting a hughs 500e body and a OH-58d body for somewhat scale look. Not to keen on my cp2 body look.

So THAT'S where my new friend came from...

Great stuff in there! Can you send that in the mine to test the air?
Ha...
Now this summer I can learn to fly the real ones.

Chris, do you breed pugs? I was thinking of getting one of those as a truck dog in the near future.

My brothers and father are in the RC car phase right now. It's fun to watch those things go, but the boys kinda scare me. If I ask them if I can try it, they growl at me!

The weekend that my dad got his car (two weeks ago, it was a bday gift from us kids) he took it out and was playing around. He was getting ready to pack it in for the day, so he put the antenna down on the controller, but the car wasn't shut off. The last command was 'full throttle' so the darned thing took of in the other direction at full speed.

My brothers all chased after it, but this thing can do like 45 mph, so they couldn't catch it. It smashed itself into a stone wall.

We all looked on in horror thinking we hadn't even payed it off yet!

You would have thought that my dad had lost his best friend or something the way he looked at it lying there in pieces!

Now the boys are bonding over putting it back together again. Every once in a while they laugh maniacally.... I think we're in trouble!

Boys and their toys!

Fleur

bryan, i have flown that predator, it flies real nice. banks, walter from walters hardware in wilkesbarre has one. it is rock stable, stalls well has good glide and can be flown off grass. only thing it doesnt do is land real slow as you cant pitch it up too much or you hit the inverted tail feathers on the ground when flaring. also dont attempt to fly it near dusk or dark at all, the dark grey scheme, although cool looking blends in real well and you cant see the blasted thing. stupid night fighter unmanned air craft, cant see em......
