Group,

Is anyone familiar with the forum at this website: http://forums.abandonedmines.net/

They've got an interesting site but I tried a couple of times to join the forum and no one has ever gotten back to me. I tried e-mailing them, too. Nothing.

It's almost like the administrators are M.I.A.

Is anyone else on that group? Banks?

Regards,
Fred M. Cain

Those guys over there are a bunch of jackasses, I'd never hang out with them  Give Dan a few days, he will grant you access, he doesn't sign on too often. He's lost the spirit

A few days? It's been more than a few days. It was like three weeks then I sent a follow up e-mail and then......nothing.

I think he's forgotten all about it. I will just take your advice and dismiss them.

Thanks,

Of course Chris is just busting Dan's chops. Dan is a friend of ours and has accompanied us on a number of mine trips. He's been quite busy lately. I'll give him a little nudge for you.

Yeah, spam is a real serious problem and it just keeps getting worse and worse. And then what's more, not everyone has time to sit and monitor a forum everyday - I certainly understand that !

We've certainly had our share of spam in the past. However, we've taken thorough (and undisclosed) measures to thwart spammers. Since we made these changes, we hardly get spam at all and it seems spammers have learned they are wasting their time here!

I think that they are all scared of being massively trolled by Johnr. He does have quite the talent for it.

Hands-on Moderating doesn't hurt either.
