Heres a pretty good interview with photographer George Harvan, which gives his account of the Sheppton disaster from what he saw there on the surface.. theres a few pictures from it too.

I got a copy from a science teacher in school. Its in VHS and I want to convert it to DVD. I need to see if I can find it. Have you ever seen it?

Nope, never seen it.... I never even saw any pictures from the Sheppton Disaster until the other night... I did a little google search and realized that it was covered by the major national news agencies at the time. I guess that was still kindof in the early days of national news coverage.

Let me see if I can dig out the copy I have. I will get it transfered over to dvd. One thing I do remember is that the VHS tape rolled inside the case. So I need to forward it a few seconds. Get back to you when its complete!
