A few years ago Chris and I traveled around the Olyphant powerhouse, in Olyphant. Grown in among the trees were various types of scrap from the power house. One such pieace was the size of an automobile. Could never figure out what it was. Well I was thumbing through the story of anthracite and there this scrap was in a photo. It was part of the automatic stokers used to fire the power plant. Ill see if I could find the pic of it. Just funny when something puzzles you for years. And you finally figure out what it was.

The bridge is still there but this past summer, some dick tore off the first 15 feet of ties on both sides and took them. About 13 years the same thing happened but they were thrown into the water. It was months before we pulled them up and put them in place. The pic with Chris on it shows how it was "repaired" until last summer.

Do you know how much I hate riding up South Valley Ave on the dirtbike?

I haven't read anything about RTT using the bridge, what are the plans?
