Bull Mine

The workings consist of large open stopes, inclined shafts, a vertical shaft, and an adit at the foot of the hill, probably for drainage. The magnetite vein was considerably large measuring approximately 100 x 10 and pitching about 40 degrees. Drifts were run through the orebody at various intervals and it is believed the mine was worked to a total depth of 1,000 feet. In addition to ore roasters, the mine complex once featured numerous structures including dwellings which are now gone.
