The newly christened museum offered mine tours beginning in 1990 and featured events for mineral collectors on the original Noble mine tract.
In mid-April of 2011, work began rehabilitating the tunnel including removing a portion of the cap. Finally on April 30, 2011, the museum hosted its first ever private tour of the Noble Mine in concert with the Delaware Valley Earth Science Society and the North East Field Trip Alliance. Led by the IronMiners, guests were afforded the first ever opportunity to tour Trotter's historic tunnel. Today, work continues on restoring the tunnel.
