hello heres a few pics of english mines hpe you like them...
first is the entrance to tilberthwaite mine....its collapsed now and i didnt go past it its more grim when your under it..]
this what we call a horse gin (horse powered winding) dated 1870s still in situe]
this is the remains of the crushing plant..not much left but it housed 2 jaw crushers ,jigs and buddles.]
finaly a couple of conniston copper mine...
this one is levers water level,the big hole is where all the drift has fell into the stope(900ft deep) exposing the main adit..]
looking out from levers water level...i couldnt resist a reflective picture..
