Switchback road planned for reclamation

Pottsville is planning to cut down trees and carve a switchback road in 2010 to continue reclamation efforts on Sharp Mountain.
“That road is the future to us restoring that mountain. Without that road, I really can’t see us being able to apply for additional rounds of funding and effectively doing anything there because in all honesty, you can’t expect to have trucks go up 20th Street forever and ever with all of that fill. It’s just too much,â€
