planning a trip to the sugar hill, ore hill area. anyone ever been to those mines?

I've never been here but it looks like an interesting place to visit. Franconia boasts the only remaining iron ore smelter in all of New Hampshire. Here is a bit of information about the mines and iron works in Franconia:
