So im doing a project for school and i need good info on asbestos other than it can cause cancer. I need: chemical formula, class of minerals it belongs to, where its found, properties and interesting facts. ANy help or GOOD links would be very much appreciated!! thanks!

This may help you some. There's quite a bit of naturally occurring asbestos in California. We are currently fighting a BLM land closure of 10's of thousands of acres due to asbestos (Clear Creek Management Area).
