I sure hope this isn't too political for our forum but I think it's important.

I want to let everyone know that there is a very nasty, mean-spirited anti-mining bill making its way through the California State legislature known as SB1270.

If there are any members of our forum living in California, I would like to strongly urge you to write your state rep and urge them to vote against this bill. It actually has the potential to end all or most mining in the state. Yes, it's that bad.

Adding to my own post here, this notorius piece of anti-mining legislation appears to have been stopped.
