Interesting arcticle...

It states that there are 300 places along the East Coast as well as 37 sites in NJ which contain natural Asbestos. I'm sure that many of them are old Iron Mines as there are many which are documented to contain a small amount of Asbestos.

A lot of these asbestos scares from the media are a little overrated in my opinion though. I know everything, and my opinion is indisputable. I am the alpha & the omega in all subjects & discussions. In fact, I declare that asbestos isn't even dangerous. I should know, since I am an expert in all things. So, read this article, but remember that Miner Greg laughs at all safety warnings and dangers because he knows, oh so much, more than anyone else on earth.

I can name two iron mines off the top of my head that we visited with naturally occurring asbestos. I found a nice specimen. I was going to take some home to insulate my hash pipe.

There is also a nice asbestos dump that we found near Hude. I don't know if it has anything to do with the mine, but it is there with stuff growing through it. It was used as insulation.. There is a nice quad path that goes on and through the dump. I'm sure those quads kick up a lot of it! The environmental people will be pretty upset if / when they discover that..

Also many people don't realize that for a period time, home builders used Asbestos shingles on homes. Its everywhere.

Again, I know these things because I know all. I must always have the last word in all discussions, because of the fact that I simply know more than everyone else. Now, if only all women knew that my creepy bang comb-over was sexy. I already know that, but then again, I know everything. Hmmmmmmmm.
