Subject: Asbury Park Railroad Club to Hold Last Run 2/21/09

I am posting this since the club models the anthracite roads...

The Garden State Central Model Railroad Club, Inc. will be closing down its 35 year-old Asbury Park, NJ display this month. This shore institution which first opened doors in Long Branch in 1963 has entertained thousands of shore residents each year but a change in landlords is forcing the club to abandon its nationally-known HO scale model railroad and seek new quarters.

In order to give friends, family and supporters one final chance to enjoy the display, the club will host a “Last Run in Asbury Parkâ€

that stinks rob, i can tell ya how it feels to have to move a railroad any ideas on where its going to be relocated to?

Yeah, that is really too bad. Such a long standing setup and to have to close it down is terrible. Hopefully your group will be successful in location a new home for this, but it is too bad to break up an existing good setup.

Have you guys thoroughly documented the setup? Myself and others who can't make the final open house would love to see pictures of it.
