I have read about this tunnel, but have found little information and i was wondering if someone could shine light on and share information on this tunnel. Thank You!

That was the original main line for the Lackawanna railroad, the line was abandoned in the 70's in favor of the Cut off from Dover, N.J. to the water Gap. There is another tunnel through the Kittanig ridge near Belvedere. It was partially daylighted after severe storms caused flooding about 1965 or so. You can find its location and figure out how to get there by using one of sattelite overviews ( Flash Earth or Google Earth)
