A friend called me up the other day, said he was cleaning his garage out. He found a box of " old papers I might be interested in". Well the box was like 3 ft.x3 ft. We started going through it, and some things were just junk. But some guys life was in that box. Evidently he was an engineer back in the early 1900's. And had to have done work for the local coal companies. In it were engineer books on boilers, power generation, etc. BUT the find was " the story of anthracite" by Hudson coal company still in the original envelope and paper wrapper it came in. Some mining engineer books, etc. And to think I was going to blow him off, and tell him to throw the box out !!! And for Banksie all kinds of newspaper articles on the German army in WW 1. (fell apart in my hands though.)
