i have a few questions about dark water. i know the repplier colliery was there and ive seen on a map the fanhouse and washhouse. however it looks like theyre close to a big strip mine. is it possible to get to these sites? same question for the wadewsville pump shaft

The fan house is still there as of 3 weeks ago, they are very near a old strippings, sort of reclaimed (I think they did some experimental planting there)
The fan house is located very close to a rock quarry. (Upper side of road)
On the other side of the road there is a shaft that they capped off over the summer (Lower side of road) and I think they are using it for water at the quarry.
They knocked down some of those falling down buildings along the road on the lower side.
Also if you turn off of rt 61 onto the Darkwater road, there is what looks like a old pumphouse.
