I am looking into becoming an underground miner and am trying to find locations that offer the classes I need. If anyone has any information it would be appreciated!

How much demand is out there today for underground miners and how much would that pay?

Assuming you can find the right classes and receive the training you need, what would the job market be for that after you're done? Can you be sure of finding a job?

I mean, I really don't know. I was just wondering. Sometimes I wish I'd gone into mining but it's way, way too late for that now.

The demand for miners in SW Indiana is a bit of a rollercoaster, it is either feast or famine. If they are hiring the pay is 15 to 18 an hour, and expect 60 hours a week.
