Taht was his friend

He really does have a sand pit. Well ,that is what we call it, it is an area on their land where nothing will grow, adn the soil is all sand, so we call it the sand pit. We use the sand for charity work (The optimist club he belongs to fills sandboxes for children every summer, and I help with that), and I use it for plaster rock molds for my model trains. I place a rock that I would like to copy in a plastic container of the sand and press it down. I then remove the rock and pour plaster into the hole in the sand. When the plaster has cured, I pull out the completed "rock", which (hopefully) has enough of the sand on it. If it does not, then I spray a mixture of diluted glue (3 parts water, 1 part glue) onto the face of the "rock" and then sprinkle some more sand onto it. I also use the sand as "Live loads" for my trains. I load the hoppers with sand for realistic tonnage, and I haven't had a derailment yet, as I also use the sand as extra weight to keep some of the cars up to NMRA standards.
