so heres my latest little project. its a DJI Phantom 2 quad copter with a Gopro 3 black mounted on a gimbal and a first person view transmitter out on the machine, to a 7 inch monitor attached to the transmitter with an output to goggles as well. in this video i was flying using the goggles. Ive also been to the huber breaker with it for some Demolition footage but thats not being shared yet as its for John Welsh's film on the breaker. for the breaker shots, i have been flying it using the screen on the transmitter. very useful to look at the screen for the shot, then look up at it, and fly it to the next position like a regular rc helicopter. Anyway, heres some footage of the maiden flight of this machine, chasing my buddy around somewhere in eastern PA at the Area 52 AeroworX research and development site.
