First of all, I wanted to thank you guys for signing the Anthracite Petition.
I also wanted to share with you what Cindy Rothermel sent me in appreciation for starting the petition. I know you guys love History and Historic Preservation as much as I do, and I thought you'd enjoy seeing this.






This is an original Anthracite Miners Certificate from the Lytle Colliery dated 1910. It's all the proof that was needed in PA to be a certified miner at that time. It's also from a miner that bears my last name... That was a great touch and I was so thrilled to receive that from her.
