nice job bond. hey i just wanted to post what us coal boys wear...... here is a pic of me all set to do a little professional video session in one of our local mines.
most of us are set up this way. black BDUs from your local army\navy store. they can be found for around $60 for a set of pants and top. they are very tough, my pants are almost a year old, have been on probably 50 or so trips, and are just starting to get worn out. ripped one of the side pockets off crawling out of a hole, and one of the buttons broke off the waist.......no comment boys..... anyways the top will last a few seasons. i figure if i had knee pads the pants would last longer. they hold up extremly well to the tough abuse we give them and why not they are designed that way. besides that we use comfo caps, like usual and most of us have msa approved koehler wheat lamps and flame safety lamps. some have mine style cave lamps. we also use rubber muck boots for wet missions, hip waders for real wet missions and regular boots for normal missions. so far im the only one that has rubber mine work gloves. these things are really worth their weight in gold. you can play in the mud climb with good grip and they dont get wet or cold. they are regular cotten gloves dipped in rubber and dried. banks had a few pairs also but keeps loosing them on trips. i got them at a mine tour i work at but you can get em at the army navy store also. we also have safety glasses when looking up for an extended peroid of time, like when building something in the mine or climbing. they help out alot. ok, just figured id throw in some coal boy opinion..... later
