Not sure if everyone saw this on the front page, but on Friday January 16, 2015, Iron Miners is "going underground" in an above ground presentation for the Canal Society of NJ. This lights out presentation will feature a slide show of never before published photos direct from the Iron Miners archives. Learn the basics of iron mining, once an important industry for the Morris Canal through first person photography and narrative. Event starts at 7:30pm at the Morris County Cultural Center at 300 Mendham Road, Morris Twp, NJ.

A huge thank you goes out to our friends at the Canal Society for inviting us to present. I was told this was a record attendance and I thank everyone for giving us their time and allowing us to share our presentation with you. We worked hard these past couple of weeks to provide something that was hopefully both enlightening and entertaining. We also got the chance to reconnect with some great people we hadn't seen in years. The history of the canal and mining is inseparable and I hope our photos and narration helped paint a fuller picture. We look forward to connecting with you on our website and continuing our dialogue.
