Buffalo New York- Sajacawana Creek was Covered in a cut and cover operation in the 1930s and placed in a tunnel from Cheektawoga NY to Black Rock for a distance of 6 miles! Water level is 2-4 feet deep and is begging to be explored via kayak. Dangers are methane and seawagege runoff Hydrogen Sufide but sorces are fresh water . Tunnel is open at both ends.Buffalo is also known for a rat population and New York is rumered to have alegators in its sewar systems
Cleveland OH-Doan creek is under gound from Maple Hts OH to University Circle. Dangers are possible underground falls with steep drop offs and deep spots
