I know the price of gas is insane, but there has been a few things I have wanted to see in Western PA. My 1st stop was at the Johnstown Flood Museum, some 13 miles upstream of Johnstown. Amazing to think of the amount of water that rushed out of the South Fork Dam.
Next stop was the Johnstown Museum in Johnstown. The museum is actually in the library that was built in 1891 from donations from Andrew Carnagie.
After this, I took a quick trip on the Incline Plane. Me being sacred of heights, it was a fun time taking photos from so high up. I then headed south about 40 minutes to the Flight 93 site. Out in the middle of no where, it is unbelievable that something could happen in such a secluded place. It was very sad being there.
My last stop was at the Quecreek mine rescue site. A mere 10 minutes from Flight 93.
Anyhow, I am bad telling stories, so I will let the photos do the talking.
